The Sea Chose Her
Jade, a Black lesbian gymnast, is relentlessly bullied by her teammate Vivian for her sexuality and striking beauty. Driven to despair, she dives into an abandoned pool and encounters Nyxara, a fierce and mesmerizing siren warrior. Under Nyxara's guidance, Jade awakens an ancient red-gold bloodline, transforms into a radiant siren, and descends with her lover into a hidden underwater kingdom, where she rises as the Abyss Queen. But humanity declares war. Led by Vivian, human fleets unleash devastating weapons in a campaign to exterminate the sirens. Through brutal battles, childbirth, and the struggle to protect their children, Jade and Nyxara push their powers beyond all limits. As their world teeters on the brink of annihilation, they merge into a supreme divine being known as the Mother and lead the survivors through a wormhole to an alien ocean. There, beyond the stars, they sever all ties with the old world and found an eternal empire. Can two hunted lovers rise from persecution
