Returning Lady General
Xie Jinglan, Daxia’s founding lady general and underworld judge, watches her seventh-generation descendant Xie Changqing killed by an impostor heiress. Furious, she makes a one-month deal with Yama to revive in Changqing’s body. She guards her granddaughter’s soul trapped in a pup and teams up with Crown Prince Lu Ren, who hides as a weak scholar. She rectifies the Xie household, defeats the fake daughter and her biased kin, then helps expose the Second Prince’s treason with foreign allies to calm court unrest.
