Greedy, dying Elder Gao allies with evil spirits to hunt the Tang Monk for immortality, unaware the monk is a fake bug avatar from Western Paradise. The village’s black pig, lame monkey and four-legged fish are the sealed Bajie, Wukong and Wujing. The fake monk torments and kills the three disciples to force Yuanfu to break his vows.Witnessing their deaths, Yuanfu awakens his true memories.
